there's a light that never goes out
if a double decker bus crashes into us
to die by your side is such a heavenly way to die
and if a ten ton truck kills the both of us
to die by your side, well the pleasure the privilege is mine

    Sarah Palin
"If any vegans came over for dinner, I could whip them up a salad, then explain my philosophy on being a carnivore: If God had not intended for us to eat animals, how come He made them out of meat?"

"I always remind people from outside our state that there's plenty of room for all Alaska's animals -- right next to the mashed potatoes."

Quotes from Sarah Palin from her book "Going Rogue"

Just when you think nothing more insanely stupid can come out of her brain (?!) she manages to surpass your expectations.

    Well.
I think I nursed the plug in on my computer long enough (no it's not the cord. it's the actually piece inside the computer that the cord plugs into.)

I no longer can get a charge into it. And I don't think it can be replaced cheaply, I mean it would probably be cheaper just to buy a new computer at this point..

Unless someone out there knows how to replace that part in a lappy and do it inexpensively.

Anywho.. here's hoping my brother will let me use his computer.. It's doubtful, but you never know.

The eyes of the world were transfixed on the fiery ruins of the World Trade Center collapsing into rubble, as thousands of people were dead or dying. Meanwhile, in an average slaughterhouse, far more pigs, chickens, turkeys, or cattle were killed that same moment in other terrorist acts. One act of terrorism was extraordinary, illegal, and immoral while the other was routine, legal, and perfectly acceptable to the minds of most people. 9-11 was a tragedy of the first order, and received nonstop media coverage, but every second is a 9-11 attack on the animals, an assault that transpires under the cover of indifference and unfolds in a far more prolonged, torturous, and barbaric manner. Dare one make a comparison between human and animal suffering? ~ Steven Best
